The Credit Suisse Research Institute's findings further support this notion, revealing that companies with at least one woman serving on their board tend to achieve superior average return on investment and experience better overall growth compared to those with exclusively male board members. Considering these substantial benefits derived from gender diversity, it remains perplexing that 77% of S&P500 company boards consist of over two-thirds male members, with a mere 2% boasting more than 50% female representation.
